The 2U transmitter 2KW maximizes the concepts of energy efficiency, compactness and reliability that have steered the design over the past ten years. All the transmitters in
this line are extremely compact and light, which makes for greater ease in their installation and lower transportation costs.
Their high energy efficiency also allows for a considerably lower operating cost.
The line is also characterized by extremely high reliability and the ability to ensure high performance even under extreme operating conditions due to intelligent safety protocols, Icefet technology, and Lifextender algorithms.
The intelligent safety protocols are activated proportionately to the severity of the environmental condition, thus guaranteeing the maximum power output in respect to the safety of the equipment.
To combat high humidity conditions, all circuit boards are protected with a spray coating to prevent corrosion or shorting. An aluminum chassis is used to further avoid corrosion. To combat humidity, Elenos pays particular attention to the air flow inside the transmitter. These are some of the things that make Elenos transmitters so reliable. They use multiple fans for cooling, however all of the fans can stop running and the transmitter will stay on the air – albeit at reduced power. By doing these things, Elenos ensures that the transmitter can work in the most extreme environmental conditions.
