Davicom AXON-8A Stand-alone unit - 8 Analog Input Interface

Davicom introduces a new intelligent product line specifically designed for smaller remote telemetry applications. These products provide users with autonomous devices for alarm, monitoring & automation functionalities at a very competitive price, while also implementing distributed intelligence at each location. Thanks to their SNMP agents, these products are the perfect remote telemetry companions to report to any SNMP Manager, including the Davicom’s Cortex Series. The AXON/NEURO systems provide automation with decision making features and commands that go well beyond conventional telemetry systems.

Jobs (or State Machines) can be used to create advanced conditions that will initiate specific actions or combinations of actions. Math functions can calculate such things as averages, decibels and much more. Schedulers and timers can trigger events or actions depending on absolute time or time durations. Counters can compile numbers of events and trigger alarms if something happens too often, or not often enough. Plus, all these operations can be combined or cascaded to produce work-saving functions at the remote site.

The AXON-8A’s flexible analog inputs are bipolar & differential. They can accept signals from various sensors thanks to their numerous input ranges, starting at ±0.5 V all the way up to 40 V and including the 4-20 mA industrial sensor standard.

Main Features:

• Data Logger & Event Log:

Data Loggers can be configured to keep track of sensor readings over time. Use the built in logic of Jobs to start data logging based on logical conditions. Never lose any data and send reports by email periodically or when the buffers are nearing full capacity. (4096 data samples & 1024 events).

• Top-Quality Design for EMC:

All Davicom products are developed and tested to operate in high-level electric fields and to resist electrostatic discharges. This is exactly the type of environment you would expect to find near high power transmitters on a mountaintop with a metal tower that is a magnet for lightning!

• Turn Them into Modbus Slaves:

Turn any AXON/NEURO device into a Modbus Slave. To ensure fast polling rates, when enabling Modbus mode, the AXON/ NEURO units will disable most of their intelligent features. This ensures that the Modbus Master device will not interfere with any other operations.
